A close resemblance to a big celebrity will pay big dividends for some lucky contestant in a new contest offering the grand prize of a $75,000 stake in a new condo suite.
Empire Communities in partnership with Bell Canada kicked off the "So You Look Like A Movie Star?" contest this week to launch Empire Communities' new Fly Condos. The condos, set to rise on Front St., between Blue Jays Way and Spadina Ave., are priced from the mid-$200,000s.
Runner-up prize is a Bell Better Home Entertainment Package, including one year free Bell high-speed Internet; high definition digital TV; home phone and long distance services; a free Bell HD PVR receiver; 46-inch flat-screen TV; a home theatre system; laptop computer and a cordless phone (approximate retail value $6,000).
The competition is open to Ontario residents 19 years of age and older. Contestants can enter online at soyoulooklikeamoviestar.com. They upload a photo of themselves and tag it with the name of the movie star they most resemble. Visitors to the contest website can vote for contestants. Contest deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 11:59:59 p.m.
The 100 top-rated people will be invited to a Red Carpet Finalist Gala Aug. 28. Celebrity judges will select two winners who they think most closely resemble their movie star look-alike.
