Ty's Tips: What do the colours you love say about you?

You can fade a colour back, crank up its volume, give it shimmer, make it dimmer, but it’s still going to retain the essence of its original self. W
hat is that essence and what will it say about the room you feature it in? What do the colours you love say about you? Here’s my take on the basic six:
RED
The mood it sets: Dramatic, energetic
Who loves it: If you’re into red, you’re probably a really dynamic, confident person. Red speaks loudly. If you want to paint your bedroom a bold red, chances are you’re a pretty bold person.
BLUE
The mood it sets: Calm, cool, collected
Who loves it: Blue, the color of the ocean and the sky, evokes tranquility, so if you’re into blue, you’re probably pretty relaxed, kind of chill. You like the simple things in life.
YELLOW
The mood it sets: Joyous, warm
Who loves it: Yellow is the happiest colour out there, so if you’re drawn to it, you probably have a pretty sunny disposition. You’re a lot of fun to be around. You’re perky, you think the glass is half full, and you want to share your awesome vibes with everyone.
GREEN
The mood it sets: Balanced, restful
Who loves it: Green lovers are usually tree huggers; that is, they’re outdoorsy and into the environment. If green is your favourite colour, you’re probably very down to earth.
ORANGE
The mood it sets: Cheery, fun
Who loves it: Orange is a colour for people who are creative and willing to go out on a limb a bit. You’re probably lively, love a good party, and have a fairly optimistic nature.
PURPLE
The mood it sets: Passionate, sexy, romantic
Who loves it: People with an affinity for purple tend to be seductive and mysterious. Purple is also the colour of the counterculture, so if this is your colour you’re probably a little rebellious, too. I bet you have a tattoo.
